A couple of birthday plates I made recently. 

I think the concept of a personal or family birthday plate is so fun!  Or even just a general family celebration plate 🫶

Is it normal to have a favorite bowl in your kitchen?

Well, here’s my favorite large serving bowl made with my studio’s locally-sourced glazes.  A glaze design I definitely want to replicate again. 🤞
After a major glaze fail that resulted in kiln shelf surgery (I’m sorry Bella love you!), I felt like I needed to do right by my dear friend Jenny and make her proud (owner of @urbanartists.sthlm - love you!).

The Aizome Drift Series. 

Ever heard of the iconic shade “Japan Blue?” Aizome is the traditional Japanese art of indigo dyeing.  I love shibori (Japanese resist-dyeing technique), Japanese denim, indigo on white, foamy currents and waves

This is the first plant pot I have ever made.  I tend to think neutral, single-color pots in whites, blacks or earth tones are ideal for houseplants but this one is just so happy.

Carved these wheel-thrown cups attempting a kurinuki effect.  I wasn’t intentionally going for the weathered cliff face result but I’m not hating it.  Colored with blobs of @urbanartists.sthlm studio’s Måsskit (bird poop) and
